This is the latest* transformation to move data between WGS84 and NAD83 in the Pacific Islands.[Updated as per Jan 2011] 1. From the main PFO menu choose Utilities / Other / Coordinate System Manager 2. Click on the Datum transformations tab 3. Right-click in the left pane of the Coordinate System Manager window and choose Add New Datum Transformation / Seven Parameter 4. The suggested name for the new transformation is NAD 1983 NEW (PacP00). 5. From the Ellipsoid menu, choose Geodetic Reference System 1980 6. From the Parameters radio buttons, choose FROM WGS-84. 7. Cut and Paste the parameters from page 13 of Reference 1b or enter as below. 8. Double-check to ensure the entered parameters match those shown below 9. Right-click on the transformation in the right pane of the Coordinate System Manager window and choose Edit to make any necessary changes.
