This is the latest transformation to move data between WGS84 and NAD83  in the Continental US and Alaska.

1. Download this file (hint - right-click Save link as...) WGS_1984_to_NAD_1983_CORS96_dbf.txt

2. Rename the file transforms.dbf

3. Be sure ArcPad is closed on the mobile device

4. Create a connection between the desktop machine and the mobile device  using Microsoft Windows and Active Sync.

5. Copy the transforms.dbf file to the System/ArcPad/System folder on the mobile device.

6. Restart ArcPad and open your NAD83 ArcPad map.

7. Verify the datum of the ArcPad map, by tapping the Open Map menu / Map Properties / Projection tab.

8. View the transformation and its parameters, by tapping the Blue i button

9. Check carefully to ensure it matches as shown here.
