The feature dataset is an organizational group of related feature classes.This is the level at which both spatial and non-spatial relationships can be created between feature classes. To participate in spatial relationships, all feature classes within a feature dataset must have the same coordinate system.
In ArcCatalog, right-click on a feature dataset and choose Properties to view the following details. |
